The
league starts on 17th
April. All matches
will be played on Thursdays between 19.30 and 21.30 at The
Perse School for Boys.
The
basic rules:
Substitutions – are not limited. They can be done whenever the ball is not in play.
At least two women or beginners must be on court at all times.
Maximum of three NVL players per team.
Borrowing players – any team can borrow players from other teams to make full squad of 6 for a match.
The team not playing in the triangular is responsible for reffing and scoring. Captains should send the match results to cvc.spring.league.2008@googlemail.com.
Games:
The League has 7 teams. Every team will play every other team one time which gives 21 matches in total.
The games are played in triangulars, simultaneously on two courts at The Perse School for Boys on Thursdays between 19:30 and 21:30. See match schedule for details.
A match is two sets (games), each set is played for 12mins. Teams change sides between sets. There is no timeout between sets.
Scoring:
Team winning both sets gets 3 points.
For a draw the teams earn one point each.
