Our NVL Men’s and Women’s squads compete in the Division 1 of the English National Volleyball League for 2018-19. Both also compete in the National Volleyball Cup and Shield. Matches are played home and away.
The County Men’s squad compete in the Eastern Region Volleyball Series and the Cambridgeshire Volleyball Men’s League (2018-19). The County Women’s squad compete in the Eastern Region Volleyball Series as two teams, CVC Panthers and CVC Tigers. The team also compete in the Cambridgeshire Volleyball Women’s League. Matches are played home and away.
The Intermediates is a friendly squad for both keen improvers and recreational volleyball players.
The Beginners and Core skills group is set up for those who are new to the sport as well as for players who are keen to develop their core skills in volleyball.
Some of our Junior members in the club compete in ad-hoc junior tournaments in the region.
In partnership with Living Sport, Cambridge Volleyball Club also run training sessions at Hills Road Sixth Form College. This Satellite club aims to help grow the number of young people taking part in volleyball and to provide new opportunities for them to create lifelong sporting habits. The satellite club is a great way to help bridge the gap between school, college and community sport.
