Fun in the sun!

The sun is finally here which can only mean one thing … outdoor tournaments!

CVC’s annual summer tournament is on 1st/2nd August, at Cambridge Rugby Club.
This full weekend tournament is  great fun for the whole family with both the 6-a-side and the pair competition, on site camping, a children’s coaching session, and the rather infamous tournament party on the Saturday night.

Be sure to add the CVC tournament to your summer volleyball calendar.

Registration is open and the entry form can be downloaded from here.  Check out the tournament page for all the tournament details and information.

Sunshine, BBQ & Volleyball

A few of the CVC Ladies headed off to Stowmarket on Sunday for one of the first outdoor tournaments of the summer.  Sarah MJ, Siebe and April teamed up with Pat of Stowmarket Stingers to play their way through the division 2 competition of both mixed and ladies teams.  The ladies had some fantastic matches, making it to the ladies final where they finished the day as runners up.

There were lots of familiar faces, a very tasty BBQ and even a well deserved ice cream.  It was a brilliant day out which got the summer tournaments off to a great start and a perfect way to spend a sunny Sunday.
