Spring League

We are now halfway through the league, and the teams have all settled into their strides.  Matches are fiercely competative, with only three more weeks left to fight it out for the top position.

Summer Tournament Entries Now Open!

The Summer Tournament is now set for the 17th / 18th August 2013 and entries are open.

There is the main 6-a-side tournament and the pairs tournament, a social on the Saturday evening, camping and parking onsite, and the sunshine has been booked for a fun volleyball filled weekend!

What's Coming Up:

Training is now finished for the year but there is still lots going on for you to get involved in.

Club AGM and End of Season Social - 13th April, 7:30pm, The Reb Bull, 11 Barton Road, Newham, Cambridge.

The AGM is a great way to find out how the club has done this year and what is planned for the coming year.  Everyone is welcome and you are encouraged to come along, it is the perfect opportunity to get involved and give your comments on how you think things went this year.  The meeting will be followed by a club social.

Matches - There are still a couple of matches left for the NVL teams before their seasons finish. The men are playing at home against Birmingham this Saturday (23rd) so go and cheer them along. The women are away to Leeds for their final matches.  County Women finished their season with a good showing at Norwich last Sunday (17th) and 3rd position overall in the league.

Outdoor Volleyball - Over the summer there are lost of chances to play some social volleyball in the parks in Cambridge, keep an eye on the Outdoor Group Forum on facebook.  Anyone can post to this forum so if you like the look of the weather put up a message and organise a game.
